To the OP. With the cab installation of the new version, the atlas folder is located in the folder where the executable file is, you can just put atlas\ when loading atlas folder.

I can get the program to recongnize/find the atlas folder on my ppc. It cannt find the globe.map installed. Help

perhaps you have specified wrong path... you have to specify the whole path of atlas and include \ (backslash) character at the end of path
