    Hello,

    After reaching chapter 4, I compiled coreutils-5.2.1 on my Suse 9.3 (32 bit) system. Everthing goes well as it seems. But after booting from the floppy and testing some commands, ls is having a problem and reports the following message;

    #ls
    ls: relocation error: /lib/libpthread.so.0: sybol _h_errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
    #

    I'm using a linux-2.6.20.7 kernel with bash-3.0.16 until chapter 4 everthing went well and other commands like mkdir and uname seems to work fine.

    Is there someone having the same problem, a search with google did not help until now.

    greets

    Hennie

      Did you copy the additional libraries in section 3.4?  librt, libpthread and libcrypt?

      Thank you, that did the thing.
