  i get past ./configure with --enable-static-link but start make and it
scrolls on without end. the same "beginning configuration for bash-3.0 for i386..." loops by.
  tried both adding the --without-bash-malloc to and taking away the --enable-static-link arg, both end with the same result.

  as the configure begins to wind up i ctrl+c and see this

  configure: warning if i wanted to set the --build type, don't use --host.

and then continues with the making.

any thoughts will be great. thank you
