#5 emails in CSRs hidden

On pages that list CSRs, the e-mails in subjects are replaced with the word 'HIDDEN'. However, when you drill down to the exact CSR, the e-mail will be there in the clear. I'm not sure what the purpose of this hiding is - possibly to prevent crawlers from harvesting the e-mails? (but then again, what's preventing them from going into the details page?)

And if this is the goal, why are the e-mails also marked 'HIDDEN' inside the administration section?
