I installed the latest beta version of PNotes.NET. It ran without problems after installation and I even imported my Pnotes from version 9.3.0. I made a few adjustments in Preferences, exited the program and tried to restart it. The program appears in Task Manager, but I do not see the icon in the notification area. I restarted the PC, but it still does not appear in the notification area. I also tried to run it as Administrator, but there is no difference.
The only noticeable thing that I could mention is that on installation of the .exe file Windows came up with a warning about it being an untrusted application (if I recall right), which I bypassed.
Running on Windows 10.

I narrowed down the problem to permissions settings since I had it installed in the "Program Files (x86)" folder.
Yes, installing in "Program Files (x86)" was not a good idea
Thank you for your quick reply. I hope that changing the access rights to the program folder will not have any serious security implications.
