1. What is it and what it will be

PMedia was first written in C# as a replacement for WMP for myself and my brother. I used C# because I wanted to work mainly on the interface and not bother too much with the internals. That version works quite well, it requires .net 1.0 and mdx.

I want fast loading and fast playing, with non intrusive and easy access. The tray icon is a must (when supported). Features such as encoding or tag editing (and the rest) is not necessary for the moment. I want a light-weight and bug-free player first.... read more
