I am also experiencing problems ... here's what I see.
1. the view doesn't display and gives class not found exceptions.
2. eclipse will mess up the project configuration such that lots of jars will no longer be able to resolve their class names and my project will no longer build. As soon as I remove a library and add it back things work again. If I run PMD on my code it will break my project's configuration.
This is all with eclipse 3.2
