Sorry, I've been tuned out a little lately, due to "work/life continuation
syndrome" In other words, if I was either unemployed, or dead, I'd probably
be a lot more involved in PLplot right now..
I have some extant changes that I was hoping to whip into suitable shape and
check in, but got distracted from finishing that.
My last major PLplot activity was to "discover" that PLplot head was giving
me total fits with plframe. At first I assumed it was some breakage on
PLPLot's cvs head, but I wasn't caught up on my email reading to know whether
I shoould report it, or just update. However, in subsequent ruminations,
I've realized that the dev tree which saw the problem, happened also to be
one in which I was trying out all the newest tcl/tk/itcl releases,
significantly including some new iwidgets code, and now I'm wondering if
there were changes in the bindings in late model Tk or Itk, which perchance,
have screwed up PLXWin or plframe, or something.
Anyway, I'll try to take a gander at the new character stuff soon. For sure,
my current plots (with an old PLplot checkout) show some bad distortion at
high magnification.
