Some time ago, Rafael discovered that plplot-test.sh could be executed from any directory for the installed version of the octave and java front ends potentially generating tons of *.ps, etc., files in a directory where you might not like them. (This is not possible for the other front ends since certain subdirectories are required.) I have decided that the best way to deal with this situation is to impose the constraints that this script can only be run from a directory named "examples" with subdirectory "c" consistent with its original design. If anyone here finds these constraints too restrictive I will reconsider imposing them. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
