P.S. Another problem in the old RedHat 6.2 days is the various applications had different ideas about the location of the top-level catalog file, and I am concerned this may still be the case for perl modules. Rafael, do the various raw CPAN (as opposed to Debian-patched) sgml/xml perl modules all use /etc/sgml/catalog for the location of the top-level catalog? If they assume locations other than /etc/sgml/catalog, then how can we specify the correct location to them? Alan __________________________ Alan W.
