I don't have access to the combination of tcl/tk and solaris, but I believe
Maurice got tcl/tk to work on solaris for plplot-5.2.0.  I don't know the
details of what he had to do to get it to work.  My understanding is Maurice
is completely under new job pressure at the moment, but eventually I hope he
will be able to answer you.
