Works like a charm! I can now build the documentation again on Debian using the latest autotools from the FSF (the same tool versions that work for the rest of the PLplot build). Thanks, Rafael! All developers: now that that autotools roadblock has been cleared, please let the list know of success/failure of documentation build for your Linux platform of choice. Note you will need docbook2X and certain perl modules installed on your system as well as the latex suite installed with plenty of resources (See README.developers.) I doubt I will be able to get to it this weekend, but I plan to try building the documentation on RH7.3 and RH8.0 the next chance I get. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
