I also ran into this problem.  With plDevs.h showing tk undefined, tcpip.lo
is compiled with nothing in it, and this screws up the build for obvious
reasons.  I mentioned a quick workaround in my previous post, but the question
is do you have the time/energy for doing the fundamental fix --- changing
configure.ac or its associated files so that plDevs.h is created properly
or else dropping plDevs.h, altogether
