The head version of x08c.c contains the following:

#define XPTS   120// 35          /* Data points in x */
#define YPTS   160// 46          /* Datat points in y */

Aside from the c++isms and typo, is this precision increase intentional?  It
does look better, and is fast enough on my machine (even x08.tcl with a
similar change).  But all the example programs should be changed to match.
