Log Message:
The Makefile dependencies were not working properly so I regenerated this
file using configure with the options --with-double --enable-dynamic-drivers
--enable-java --enable-gnome followed by make depend.  After that all
dependency problems disappeared so I am committing the result.  Hope it
works well for everybody else.
