For me, that as an user often compile from sources, having a NEWS file=20 is helpfull, to see if it is worth to compile/install a new release;=20 also the BUGS is helpfull, to see if a known bug has been solved. From=20 this perspective, the entries in BUGS that are solved should be marked=20 as solved, and not deleted. But I now understand that your intention=20 was only to maintain PROBLEMS as a CVS-STATUS. Joao |
