I just got rid of the last major discrepancies to be found between the examples for the C, tcl, and python (and yorick) front ends for examples 1-18, excluding 14 and 17. I will do the same for java as soon as the appropriate additions to javabind.c have been made by Geoffrey. I encourage others to make the examples similarly consistent for Octave and fortran. Java and those two front ends are the top consistency priority now, but when the C++ and perl examples are completed, I suggest every effort should be made to produce consistent example results there as well. Consistent postscript results for every front end for each of the examples are boring (;-)), but such results are an excellent consistency check that the plplot API has been implemented properly for every front end and also an excellent teaching tool if somebody is trying to expand their knowledge of plplot to more than one front end. If you change any of these examples for any of the front ends (i.e., something as simple as a colour or line width change) I would appreciate you doing it for all front ends to maintain the consistency that I have now achieved.
