Just an aside note: if/when the Debian GNU/Linux packages for 5.1.0 come out, and if/when the Debian NetBSD port (http://debian-bsd.sourceforge.net/) will be functional, chances are high that PLplot 5.0.1 will also be available in the NetBSD environment.
