BTW, would anyone mind if I changed the configure option from:

 --enable-dynamic-drivers

to

 --enable-dyndrivers

?

The extra hyphen make it confusing IMO when trying to figure out what the
corresponding configure variable is (in this case, it's enable_dynamic_drivers
rather than enable_dynamic-drivers).
