[Plplot-devel] The Debian PLplot fails

Dear PLplot developers,

The Debian plplot package is failing to build against version 6.3.1 of 
sip-tools. The latest correct build of the package was done against 
sit-tools 6.1.1.¹

This issue has been reported in Bug#997739.²

This bug is tagged "serious". I could not find a way to fix it. If it is 
not fixed, then the plplot package will be removed from Debian testing 
and, consequently, from the next Debian release.
