So to get you started try (from the bash shell which is available on both platforms) # Assuming you have unpacked the plplot-5.14.0 tarball in the directory plplot-5.14.0 cd plplot-5.14.0 mkdir build_dir cd build_dir cmake -G "Unix Makefiles" .. >& cmake.out make VERBOSE=1 >& make.out And send us the resulting cmake.out, make.out and CMakeCache.txt files.
