I've made a mistake in my previous email on this topic, it's by reverting your
two commits, 893625c and 84760038, and doing a quick and dirty hack about the apple cpp issue
that plplot plcairo ocaml cairo2 based works fine now. It's on a mac air running os x 10.11.6 and
macports aged of one month approx. cairo lib is version 1.14.10
