I have now used the above information to update the NAMES and HINTS used to discover PYQT_SIP_DIR. Could you try the first stages again of the comprehensive test, but this time without specifying PYQT_SIP_DIR? Our build system should now (commit e3e0f15) automatically be able to determine PYQT_SIP_DIR on MinGW-w64/MSYS2 without you needing to specify it, and I hope the above test will confirm that.
