As you have probably noticed from the git feed I have been making some progress with that documentation upgrade. For example, all C callback types are now properly documented for the first time in a table in the C chapter. So my next documentation upgrade steps are to refer to that table of C types wherever relevant in the documentation, e.g., in the starting paragraphs of the api chapter and also wherever in that chapter PLplot C callback types are being used as arguments. I also need to add a table in the Fortran chapter concerning the Fortran callback types, and I need to completely update the special chapter on the special Fortran API. (Or maybe remove it altogether if it is, as I suspect, completely dated/nonrelevant.) Anyhow, there is still obviously quite a bit I still plan to do on the documentation front, but hopefully in the next few days I can get that all done to clear the way for the planned appeal to users to test our new Fortran binding.
