Here is the result (I had to switch off Ada and I need to reinstall Tcl as bits and pieces required for the development of extensions are missing), but PyQt4 worked now. The various components are getting fairly complete.

I followed your advice and the result is that now PyQt4 is accepted. However, the build fails on Ada:



cd /cygdrive/d/plplot-svn/comprehensive_test_disposeable/shared/build_tree/dll && /usr/bin/cmake.exe -E copy_if_different libplplotada.dll libplplotada.dll.a

Error copying file (if different) from "libplplotada.dll" to "libplplotada.dll.a".

bindings/ada/CMakeFiles/plplotada.dir/build.make:142: recipe for target 'dll/cygplplotada-2.dll' failed

make[2]: *** [dll/cygplplotada-2.dll] Error 1



There is in fact no file libplotada.dll. No idea why not, but this is the first time I have ever seen much of Ada in the context of PLplot. For details: the attached tarball.

Somewhere along the line the Tcl installation as Cmake understands it has gone wrong - that may be something with my environment or my installation, though tchsh is running fine. Well, this requires some investigation from me (I had a small disaster the other day with the installation of some package destroying my PATH variable).

I will turn Ada off for now and try again.
