Qt5<br />is not available for Debian stable (the platform I run), but it is<br />available for Debian testing (what will turn into the next Debian<br />stable release) and other cutting-edge Linux versons so I agree it<br />would be a good idea for us to get ready for it.<br /><br />Currently I have no idea whether the API changes between Qt4 and Qt5<br />affect us or not (see the first answer).
