Well, that is solved too: just a few small corrections to the wrapper code and some juggling with the PATH variable that
were required on my machine and I can now confirm that the Java bindings build fine with MSVC/C++ and that the
Java examples produce the same results as the C examples.

There are some strange issues with CMake though. I will write those down in a separate mail.
