I do not think that the problem is on our side.  It may be that Vinod is
doing something non-conventional with --prefix and DESTDIR.  Vinod: we
need to know *_exactly_* the commands that you issued for configure,
make, and make install (i.e. we need all the arguments you gave in the
command line), as well as the full output of the commands.
