So please start fresh again (starting with a fresh unpack of the tarball with everything removed from the prefix area that was installed before). Then give us the *.out files generated by ./configure --your options >& configure.out make >& make.out make install >& make_install.out Some of this may seem repetitive, but we may get some significant changes (or the install might even work) when you do everything from a fresh start. Also, a fresh start means we will see every step in the configuration, build, and install process rather than just the previous partial results, and the full results will make this easier for us to figure this out. Rafael, I am sure it is something in our Makefile.am files that needs to be changed to more standard form for the csiro libraries, but unless you can spot something by quick visual inspection, I believe the requested extra details from Vinod (see above) will be necessary for one of us to figure this out.
