[Plplot-general] plplot on AMD64

I'm trying to install plplot on a AMD64 running Linux x86_64 
under Fedora3.

C and C++ works fine when I runs plplot-test.sh  but
for f77 it complains about "Segemtation fault"

I guess I have to change some flags in the makefile.
How do I fix it?
