Yesterday, Rafael generated a snapshot of our CVS version of PLplot and put
it in the usual place, http://plplot.sourceforge.net/cvs-tarball/ .  I have
done some testing (build, install, and build and execution of all installed
examples) of this tarball on my Linux Debian testing distribution, and there
were no obvious problems.  I encourage PLplot users to give this
experimental tarball a try.  Your feedback about your normal use of this
tarball will provide us with useful tests for a large variety of different
platforms that are not accessible to the developers and will make our next
official release that much better.
