[Plplot-general] Legend

Hi,

I'm looking for a bit of help. I'm plotting a graph with two series using 
plpoin. I'd like to add a legend to the graph (it's not entirely obvious 
which series is which).

The first thing I thought of using was plmtex. But I can't see how to get the 
relevant plpoin symbols drawn without resorting to setting explicit mapping 
between them and their ascii equivalents (some of the later ones don't even 
have equivalents)?

Any help would be appreciated.
