You must add
#include <errno.h>

at lib/csa/csa.c, as in

 #include <string.h>
+#include <errno.h>

but it depends what world are you from: nix/win/cygwin/mac/sources/rpm/deb? I 
recommend octave-2.1.50, the "stable" 2.0.17 is now too old.
