A piece of explanation: I am compiling plplot for internal use
in Motorola. We need a relocatable package since each sys-admin
manage software install the he/she wants, but prefer not to 
recompile ...

Anyway I could finaly get it work. I had to move a few files but
that now fine. If someone else is interrested I'd be pleased to
share the info.

BTW: Are you able to browse the maillist archives ? It can't
stop stalling or replying "server error" when I try to.
