(gzip or bzip2 would be straightforward for me to interpret.) However, your error messages on the make attempt all seem to do with the device drivers. We have had a lot of bad reports from others about the default static drivers on some platforms so if you haven't done so already, could you please try the --enable-dyndrivers configure option to see if that solves the problem? If that doesn't solve it, please send me privately the complete configure and make output as uncompressed (or gzip or bzip2) text attachments. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
