It sounds like the fonts aren't installed correctly on your system, but we'll need some more information from you to get to the bottom of this. What version of PLplot? If it's an rpm, what version of that? I have had good luck with the recently released plplot-5.2.0.tar.gz with RH 7.3, and Joao has had good luck also with that tarball for RH 8.0. I see no reason why it shouldn't work with RH 7.2 but we haven't tried it with that distribution. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
