| You need to install Octave (make sure you install it with shared libraries) and then build PLplot with --enable-octave. If you untar the source for PLplot the INSTALL file in the bindings/octave directory explains what you need to do to get everything up and running. You will also need to download "matwrap", the link is in the instructions.
