I just checked, and I do not have any problem with the tk driver for x08c
under 5.0.2.  AFAIK, there was no problem under 5.0.1 as well.

So what plplot version were you using?  Also, please let us know your OS. My
testing is limited to Debian.  (I also test on RedHat and solaris, but
without Tk for reasons that are in the announcement).
