The list has been quiet because plplot is almost perfect.... ;-)

Seriously, your posting reminded me to announce a new development.

The format of the documentation (and some of the contents) has been greatly
improved thanks to work by Rafael Laboissiere and yours truly.  Please check
out www.plplot.org in the resources section for a link to the new DocBook
form of our documentation.

Currently, I am working on improving the contents of the documentation which
is very easy to do with DocBook source.  If anybody wants to help with this
project or give constructive criticisms of the current effort please get in
touch.
