[Plplot-general] PLplot drivers, is JPEG or PNG or GIF coming soon (along with Postscript)

Hello plplot people,

We are interested in producing PNG format files.  We currently have a
program that uses PLplot, which has 18
driver/file output options including postscript and postscript color.
However, I don't see any new drivers in the
"developers snapshot" (http://emma.la.asu.edu/plplot/source/) gzip file
to indicate any work towards this very
desirable PNG format file/driver.  I was wondering if anyone knew
whether any such plans are in the works or not, and,
if not, who to contact?
