Hi all, So after taking a break and doing some other stuff, its time for me to turn back to another documentation surge. When looking at that I was realising we had an issue that of the documentation being a little splintered. This is fine and good, but I think a little coming together is in order. What we have so far, I think: Marco: an online documentation book http://www.engineering.ucl.ac.uk/plone/PloneManual/ Maik: a developers Wiki http://plone.org/documentation/index_html/developer "the" plone book online http://plone.org/documentation/book and some how tos http://plone.org/documentation/howto/ I just had a quick look at some of these and noticed especially between the two books we really are duplicating some work. So my questions: - Marco, do you have any plans for the book and giving it a wider audience? Is there a way we can bring the two together? - Anyone know what the next Plone Sprint in Italy which is going to be doing documentation is doing? - And by the way, Marco and Maik are you on the Plone-docs mailing list? And finally just to let you know that this is what I plan to do. Cheers. -- Andy McKay |
