Hi, I have several Plone 4.1.6 sites using OpenXML 1.1.0 to provide full text indexing and icons for MS Office 2007/2010 documents. It has been working great, however, I recently added a new Plone site to the instance and the OpenXML-provided icons are not showing up in the navigation portlet (or sitemap for that matter). They also do not show in the folder_contents view. However, the icon does show up in the content area of the page when you "view" the document, i.e., the URL is http://mysite.org/folder/document/view. In these cases, the icon shown is the generic "application.png." The sites in question are both using the same theme, which is based on the Plone Classic theme. The site where the icons work was originally built in an earlier version of Plone and migrated up to 4.1.6, the one where the icons don't work was created as a 4.1.6 site. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling OpenXML in the site quickinstaller, which had no effect. I'm not seeing any errors in the site error_log. Any ideas? I see that OpenXML hasn't had any updates since September 2010, is it possible that it is not fully compatible with Plone 4.1? Also, is there a better, more modern way to provide full text indexing and icons for Office 2007/2010 documents in Plone? Thanks, let me know if any additional information would be helpful. -Rick -- Rick Bruch | Web Computing Specialist Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, University of Washington School of Public Health 1107 NE 45th Street, Suite 400 | Seattle, WA 98105 Phone: 206.543.3696 | Campus Box: 354809 |
