I am one of the authors but I have not done releasing for years, and I 
would not feel comfortable in doing it so now, since I am out of 
context regarding the package, and not aware of the issues that I 
should look for or check.

Afaik Eric Steele was doing the releases in the recent period, in 
support for Plone, but I may be wrong. Perhaps, he is busy, or on 
holiday? I believe once he reads this mail he will check the fix and 
make a release.
