But I still would like to have "colophon size" (that is 15px height) logos for Python, Zope and Plone. That way, I can make my "PZP" reference easily. There is a 15 X 15 Zope logo in plone_images (zope_icon.gif) and that is a fine example of what I would like for Plone (with and without the word "Plone"; just the nice three-dot-in-circle would be really neat; I know I saw it somewhere, but is it available in colophon-size?) and for Python. Unfortunately in the case of Python, all there is (apparently) is a Python Powered thing again. Is there an "official" logo other than the Powered By" thing? I am not too fond of the "Powered by" things. My aim here is to do justice to those wonderful technologies but at the same time remain "low profile". I want to acknowledge the use of those technologies, but I am not officially promoting technologies on my site whence my desire to just juxtapose small colophon icons at the bottom of the site. That way, you are not imposing anything on the site user (that is, you are not taking up view space too much, just enough) and yet those curious people who care about what's under the hood have an option. In my opinion, the About section on Plone.org should have a folder on logos. A search for "logo" on plone.org should lead one right in that folder. Yves Moisan |
