Maybe this helps: "There is currently a bug that is affecting the Subversion member permission: it displays as enabled (with a checkmark), but it is not really enabled. Most people find that having a project admin go to the Admin / Members page, selecting the name of a user to change, and toggling the Subversion developer access checkbox off (submit that) and back on (submit that) clears up the problem." The message is 20 days old thought. Source is http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1564215&group_id=1&atid=200001 . I couldn't find any other support request on SF.net that was related to commit problems to svn. -Coz |

I'll now try to get my stuff in. :-) It's basically the same patches that I sent shortly before the CVS->SVN discussion, but freshly diffed against plib/SVN, and now accumulated in one patch. Sorry for that, but separating the changes again is now a bit hard, after that long inactivity. I'll refer to the original patches/messages where possible, though. All changes are in my plib copy since a *long* time, as well as in FlightGear's "forked" files (which I would like to abandon once plib is fixed). Remember that puaList was originally a contribution by the FlightGear project. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (1) puaList has methods getTopItem() and setTopItem() declared, but not defined. The patch forwards the method calls to the subwidget that is responsible for this feature. http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=10437020&forum_id=4479 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (2) puaList's initial value isn't respected http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=10437021&forum_id=4479 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (3) don't allow puListBox to scroll off; automatically remove the slider if all entries fit in the box (enjoy the ASCII graphics in the original message :-) http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=10437023&forum_id=4479 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (4) puSlider: don't allow the slider handle to become smaller than 10 pixels (a 1 pixel wide slider is hard to grab). m. |

Melchior, I went to the Admin page and saw under "Your Permissions" the statement "You may access and perform write operations to this project's Subversion repository (unless otherwise prevented by ACLs)." I'm still getting the "Forbidden" error. There's a "Members" section of the Project Admin interface but I am forbidden from seeing it. John F. Steve gave an explicit 'go ahead' to SVN conversion last week. If I was a registered plib developer, I would have done it by now. I see I can do it= for the Atlas project although I am not an admin of this project, so I take f= or granted that any plib developer can do it for plib too. -Fred Sourceforge ID: fredb Selon Fay John F Dr CTR USAF AFSEO/SK <joh...@eg...>: > Melchior, > > To the best of my knowledge, changes to CVS are still allowed. > There was some talk about another attempt to convert to SVN, but I don'= t > think much was actually done. Melchior, To the best of my knowledge, changes to CVS are still allowed. There was some talk about another attempt to convert to SVN, but I don't think much was actually done. Go ahead and put your changes into CVS and we will make the SVN conversion from the fresh CVS archive. John F.
