Yippee! It looks like the long-standing glColorMaterial bug(s) have finally been nailed by Brian Paul of the Mesa team...as we have gradually come to suspect, it looks like this has indeed been a Mesa problem all along. I havn't had a chance to try the fixes yet - and I probably won't get the time to do so until after SigGraph at the end of July - I'd be eternally grateful to anyone with a Linux/Mesa/Voodoo setup who could go grab the latest Mesa 3.3 from CVS and report back...either way.
