Josh, Yes! I am absolutely interested in an interface to your ad-hoc networking software. Right now, our client program calls the net-snmp program 'snmpget' to access individual MIB table entries. Mainly we just use 'link quality'. However, a C library based on the net-snmp library might be just perfect for accessing the MIB cleanly and easily. Then this C library could be linked into either a client program or the Player server if we want a Player interface / driver. The nice part about linking it into Player is that we could build models in Stage and Gazebo using the same interface! And I guess that is what Player/Stage is all about.
