That was indeed the case for previous versions of Aladin. The new
prototype version (available via Web Start at
http://aladin.u-strasbg.fr/java/nph-aladin.pl?frame=get&id=Aladin-proto.jnlp
) should fix this problem, ie is compatible with any Plastic hub and do
not rely anymore on ACR.

Yes, Aladin is still sending some incorrect file URLs.
I'm working on it, and will cut a new release quite soon.
