I realised that the map file shouldn't actually be in /etc/opt/csw/pkgutil.map, because it will primarily be used by bldcat.  I suggest going to Dago's original suggestion, calling it 'mapfile'.  I think it is better located in the repo, in the same directory as the 'catalog' and 'descriptions' files.
