I have installed the Compression Filter into my WebCenter Sites application in hopes of reducing whitespace and partciulary removing extra spaces being added before and after included assets as shown in the Oracle doc below:

installing the filter does not seem to have any effect on the site whatsoever, do you have any tips in order to implement the filter?
